PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE

The PBKNY Public Services Committee connects members interested in public service, civic leadership, and mission-driven careers across government, law, military and veterans’ service, education, public health, nonprofit work, public safety, and related fields. Through panels, career conversations, workshops, and member engagement, the committee highlights how a liberal arts and sciences education can support service to the public good.

Committee Mission

The Public Services Committee supports PBKNY’s commitment to civic life by creating opportunities for members to explore, discuss, and engage with public service in its many forms. The committee seeks to foster thoughtful, nonpartisan dialogue around public leadership, service, and professional pathways that contribute to the public good.

What We Do

The committee develops programming and engagement opportunities that may include public service panels, career coffee chats, professional development workshops, partner information sessions, member spotlights, mentorship conversations, and virtual roundtables.
